Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are accepted without penalty up to 72 hours before 3 pm on the day of arrival. Cancellations within the 72-hour day cancellation policy are subject to the first night's room and tax. No refunds. Please be aware that attempting to modify a reservation within the 72-hour cancellation period will be considered a cancellation.
Special events may have a different cancellation policy.
Deposit Policy
A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to hold the reservation. The credit card will be authorized pre-arrival to ensure validity, however, no deposit will be taken.

Pet Policy
No pets are permitted on the property. Only service animals as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are permitted and must be under the handler's control at all times. Emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals are not considered service animals under the ADA, and we do not allow these on-premises. Guests violating this policy will be charged a minimum $250 cleaning fee and asked to leave the property.
Our team follows the ADA guidelines described in the ADA 2010 Revised Requirements: Service Animals.

What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is at 11 AM.
Do you offer parking?
For your convenience, valet parking is available to guests at a rate of $45 per evening. Oversized vehicles (extended SUVs, Vans, etc.) cannot be accommodated via valet parking; our staff will be happy to direct you to the nearest self-parking facility. If you prefer to self-park, our team will provide you with instructions on how to do so at the nearby parking garage.
Is breakfast included?
Yes, a complimentary European-style breakfast is offered in the Veranda Lounge from 7 am to 10 am daily.
Is there a restaurant on-site?
Yes, The Veranda Lounge is our lobby-level bar and lounge offering craft cocktails and small plates. It is open Sunday - Thursday from 12 pm - 10 pm and 12 pm - 11 pm Friday & Saturday.
What is The Loutrel's smoking policy?
The Loutrel is a smoke-free property. A $350 fine will be collected from anyone found smoking on property. Smoking is prohibited throughout the property (including on balconies and the rooftop terrace).
Do you offer car chargers?
Yes, The Loutrel has car charging options available for Tesla and universal car chargers.
Do you have a fitness center onsite?
Yes, we have a 24-hour fitness studio located on the Mezzanine Level featuring free weights, yoga mats, a treadmill, an elliptical, and a Peloton bike. There are also complimentary snacks and refreshments to refuel after your workout!
What is the Finest Hour and where is it celebrated?
The Loutrel celebrates Charleston’s Finest Hour daily between 4 pm and 5 pm. Please tune in to our events calendar on property to find where our Finest Hour will be served.
Where is the rooftop terrace and when is guest access permitted?
Our rooftop terrace is located on the 4th floor and is open for guests to enjoy from 7 am until 10 pm.
