Morning Reverie

Linda Fantuzzo

A Endicott, NY native, Linda graduated from The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in 1973. Captivated by the local light and architecture, Linda settled in Charleston, SC and thrives in her harbor-adjacent studio, active in the vibrant arts community. After a decade of non-objective work, she returned to representational painting. Her art has been showcased in galleries since the '70s and has had five solo museum exhibitions in SC and GA. An engaged arts advocate, Linda's contributions span the SC State Arts Commission, Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art, Redux, and more. As Assistant Executive Director for the Manning Williams Trust Legacy, she remains dedicated to the arts.

Jorge De La Torriente

Born in Miami, Jorge De La Torriente studied architecture at Cornell University and thrives on creation. Frustrated by slow architectural processes and stifled creativity from clients, he turned to photography, finding immediate satisfaction. His passion for photography and travel go hand in hand. Rather than documentation, his photos offer his interpretations of places, refined through his eyes. Inspired by masters, he crafts photographic pieces reminiscent of paintings, highlighted by a signature painterly effect achieved through long exposure, a minimal palette, and elegant presentation.

With a Bachelor's Degree in Art from the University of Georgia and a Master's Degree in Medical Illustration from the Medical College of Georgia, he's enriched his expertise by studying painting at the School of Visual Arts in New York and the Academy DuCret in New Jersey. His creations draw inspiration from the symbolism of daily life, influenced by artists like Rembrandt, Ingres, Millet, John Singer Sargent, and Bo Bartlett.
